Biggest moon of 2009

When I saw the full moon rising east of our home in Lehigh Acres, I ran out to the backyard to look for angles to shoot it. Lima, a stray cat we adopted a few months ago, got curious and climbed onto our roof to see what I was up to. It didn't take me long to realize that she was my angle. Now if I can just convince a Florida panther to pose...

For all of these shots, I hand held my Nikon D40x with an 80x400 Nikkor lens. Distance to cat was about 25 feet.
