Desperado waiting for an Audubon group

FWC has asked for the public's help in apprehending a man they say has been robbing Audubon birders of their field guides and life lists.

“It's terrible!” exclaimed one woman, fighting back tears. “He also pedaled up next to me on a bicycle and stuck a smiley face sticker on my binocular lens!” Another birder complained that the man had planted banana-billed woodpecker decoys on pine tree branches.

The perpetrator is a 6'5” white male with a Spanish moss beard who can often be heard singing “Mr. Eastern bluebird's on my shoulder...zippity-doo-dah, zippity day.”
